In order to attend the first year of the course, students must possess a five-year high school diploma or an equivalent qualification that has been acquired abroad.
Students must take a non-selective assessment test, which will divide them according to their language level. The test only assesses English language skills, being English the compulsory language (or A language) for all students. The level of the other languages (B languages) will be tested during the first lessons. The number of lessons (and the corresponding university credits) and
the number of exams is the same for both languages A and B.
The test consists of a written and an oral part. The written part is composed of:
The oral part consists of a 10 minute interview that will assess grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation
and communication skills.
The application for the assessment test must be submitted to info@mediazionelinguisticaperugia.it. Those with a university degree or transferring from another language mediation faculty or school are exempt from taking the test. The assessment test usually takes place in the first half of September. Any latecomers may be admitted to an additional session in the first ten days of October.
Taking the test does not automatically guarantee admission to the degree course; once the maximum number of students enrolled established by law has been reached, we can no longer accept any other students. You can submit the enrolment application together with the application for the assessment test.
Sign up for the assessment testEnrolment to the first year of the degree course can be submitted from 1 April to 30 September each year and is subject to the number of places available. Once these have been filled, admission can no longer be guaranteed.
On the enrolment form students must indicate their choice of B language, which is the foreign language they intend to study in addition to English, and the third language option (C Language). It is important to note that students do not incur any additional costs for attending third language courses (other than those for study materials). However, a time overlap with language B classes is possible. Please note that the number of class hours and the number of exams is the same for languages A, B and, if applicable, C.
