Library and labs
Classrooms and labs
The Istitute provides various facilities and spaces to support teaching and studying activities.
All classrooms have free WiFi and are accessible to people with disabilities. They may have different capacities, but all are equipped with computers, video projector, amplification system and whiteboards.
Labs are used for lectures and language teaching, translation and interpreting exercises. In the labs, student workstations are equipped with specialised software (proprietary and open source) for:
- language learning
- simultaneous interpreting exercises
- computer-aided translation (CAT tools) and compilation of terminology glossaries
- compilation and analysis of specialised texts
- multimedia translation
Students may access the language and computer labs and use the self-study programmes and CD-ROMs provided by the university with prior authorization of the administrative office.
Giampiero Rocca library
